Rehearsal Blog Update 10/24/2013

Hello Intermediate Singers and Families,

Welcome back to the blog! Here’s what’s happening:

Schedule Reminders

Oct 31^st: Halloween rehearsal from 5-6pm. Costumes encouraged!

Nov 21^st: Mandatory final rehearsal before dress rehearsal

Nov 28^th: Thanksgiving – NO REHEARSAL

Dec 5^th: Holidays with Cantabile mandatory dress rehearsal, 4:45-6:30pm at St. Joseph’s Cathedral 

Dec 7^th: Holidays with Cantabile Concert at St. Joseph’s. 11:30am call time (in uniform), 1pm concert

Musicianship

Intermediate A:  You’ve made a great start in your workbooks! Make sure you look through last week’s homework pages. If anything has been circled or marked as incorrect, you must correct your mistakes before handing in your book again next week. Don’t forget to email cassie@cantabile.org with any questions. This week’s assignment: pages 4-8.

Intermediate Honor: Great work on the alto part of Hanukah Lights! We had fun this week putting Vanitas Vanitatum into parts. Here is a video of the piece being performed in several parts so you can hear what it sounds like:
