Rehearsal Blog Update 04/04/2014

Dear Intermediate Singers and Families,

We're just over one month away from our final concert! Please ensure that singers are practicing with the videos below and the part recordings sent via email, and diligently completing their musicianship workbook homework.

Upcoming Event: Friday, April 4th

Cantabile's Aria and Bravi choirs will be performing in the Los Altos plaza at State St. and Main St. for “First Friday”: http://losaltosfirstfriday.org/about/
Come on out from 6:30-7:30pm and support them! Bring your friends, and anyone you know who might be interesting in joining Cantabile!

Hats

Please continue to bring a hat to rehearsal. The hat must be easily put on and taken off with just one hand, and made out of stiff enough material that it holds its form. (A wool winter hat or tilley hat, for example, would NOT work, and baseball caps will no longer work either.) Ideal hats are costume or real bowlers, fedoras, boaters, top hats, cowboy hats, sombreros, straw hats, or halloween hats like a hard hat, sailor cap, police cap, etc.

If you don’t own any hats like the ones described above, try Diddams at 1952 W El Camino Real, Mountain View. I bought a perfect black hat there the other day for under $3!

May 10th Concert

ALL MUSIC IS NOW MEMORIZED.

Hats (music begins at 0:58)
Bless the Lord #3: Grannies and Grandads (note: this recording is faster than we’re doing it!)

And keep reviewing the African songs, too:
