Happy New Year!

It was great to see everyone at our first rehearsal of the term. A special hello to the new faces that are joining us in 2014 – welcome to the Cantabile family! For those of you who are new to the organization, this blog is mandatory reading for Intermediate singers and families. It’s updated once a week, and contains vital information on your weekly practice and musicianship assignments, and details on upcoming special rehearsals and performances. Concert Blog Post 12/06/2013

Dear Intermediate Singers and Families,

Happy Holiday Concert Week! Here are the details for the Dec. 7^th Holidays With Cantabile concert:

Location:   Cathedral Basilica of St Joseph, 80 S Market St, San Jose

Call time: 11:30 – on stage, drop off begins at 11:15 at curbside

ARRIVE DRESSED IN CONCERT ATTIRE

1:00 PM   CONCERT BEGINS

3:00 PM   CONCERT ENDS

CHILDREN ARE DISMISSED FROM PARISH HALL (Building right next to Cathedral. Look for a sign that says “Intermediate Choir”)

Uniform Details:

Boys: hair combed, Cantabile red polo shirt, black twill pants, black dress shoes, black socks.

Girls: hair pulled back in a ponytail and out of the face, Cantabile red polo shirt, black twill skirt, black tights (no designs) and simple black dress shoes. Shoes should NOT be patent leather and should NOT have jewels/rhinestones, sequins, shiny decorations, etc. No platforms or boots. NO jewelry (except for very small earrings), bracelets or watches.

If your child is not properly dressed he/she will unfortunately not be allowed to perform in the concert. Thank you for understanding and helping us create a fantastic experience for every child.

Please bring water bottles! Give your child a water bottle with his/her name on it for both events. All singers must stay hydrated to sing well!
